Lakisha Robinson, MS
Lakisha Robinson, MS is the Program Manager of Sunrise Therapy Center. If I started my introduction with my origin, it would seem so dismal that even the proverbial country singer would shy away from it for being too sad. So let me begin my introduction from where I am now! It is full of triumphs, inspiration, and hope for the future. I firmly believe that it is not where you start, but where you finish. I currently have a Master of Science in Family and Consumer Sciences and have worked in the mental health field since 2006. My education, nature, and career allowed me to study and work with Behavior Modification/Intervention, Motivational Speaking, and making “nothing” into something great. While I am Seeking Safety training, I find that real-life situations and understanding how individuals aspire is all that is needed to assist in advancing most into their desired futures. I am also an artist, I sew at the professional level, I am a professional Belly Dancer, and have had artwork featured in art galleries. In conclusion, my beginnings were lackluster…where I’m headed is extraordinary.
